Homegrown Music is a brand new music festival with Leftover Salmon and the Wood Brothers headlining at Byrd's adventure center (outside of Ozark, AR) on July 21-23.
We're are doing things a little differently and are holding our region's first sustainable music festival! Our attendees will all be supplied with collectible plates, stainless steel pint glasses (to purchase beer from Fossil Cove Brewing Company and Ozark Beer Company) and branded bamboo utensils for the full weekend to wash at our on demand dishwashing stations. Our partners from Richter Solar will be lighting our pathways and powering a second stage. Our volunteer force will be supplied by our steward non profit, the Mulberry River Society, and Greensource Recycling is supplying us with a very thorough recycling system and custom built bicycles to pick up trash and recycling throughout the weekend.
We've got some super talented artists creating sculptures from materials from the recycling center, too!
We've got a few dozen wonderful vendors, who handcraft their goods, or locally source their food. Art Feeds is programming our kids' craft tent, and will be creating projects made from recycled materials all day Friday and Saturday. We have a kids dance stage, a lights out at 11 camping area, for families, a pop up morning farmers market sponsored by Ozark Natural Foods, and Phat Tire Bike Shop will lead a bike ride to Byrd's from Fayetteville (and shuttle your camping gear)!
We have so many cool projects in the works that we can't wait to share with you!
And we hope to see you on the River!
