Join us Sunday, October 30th in Riverfront Park as Big Brown & Brownie’s LUV Foundation in association with THE VAN proudly present “HALLOWEEN on the RIVER” from 4-10PM. This mini festival is designed to bring together community, commerce & tourism to our amazing park & entertainment district, while benefiting The Van by urging all attendees to bring blankets, coats or monetary donations to help keep our homeless brothers & sisters warm this upcoming winter.
Halloween on the River is a one day event that features 4 stages of entertainment. The Live Music Mainstage features: The Stephen Neeper Band, Rodney Block, Joey Farr & Fuggens Wheat Band, FreeVerse, Jeff Coleman & the Feeders. The Belvedere Stage will host Central Arkansas cream of the crop EDM DJs & an amazing light show to boot. The History Pavilion will be the Karaoke Stage while adjacent to the Kids Zone and facing the pergola which we will transform into the “Haunted Cave” at 8PM to scare anyone who wishes to enter.
The Revolution Room Patio will act as our Acoustic Stage. Finally, there will be bouncy houses for the kids and all the vendors will also be acting as little houses for children to get their much desired candy from.
Small businesses and service companies can showcase their goods FOR FREE by sending an email to email@example.com for approval and specific directions. They must act as candy outlet for children, help straighten up the park upon load out & finally, if they make a profit or wish to make a donation to The Van they can based on a percentage of what they sold .
There will be beer & refreshment vending. Blankets & chairs are cool, but coolers are not cool. Rivermarket businesses will have the chance to shine by featuring food and drink specials.
The event is made possible by the contributions of Rush & Linda Harding/Cache, OneBanc, Beach Abstract, Central Distributing, Ernie Biggs, Gus Fried Chicken, Big Whiskey, Revolution Music Room, Stickyz, Cupids, Bear Hill Interiors, River Rock Reality, Balance Lighting, Dogtown Sound, & countless volunteers.
